I think you will find water pythons in the wild are semi aquatic, transferring that to and enclosure could be difficult.

I can see the appeal of housing multiple species together, would look pretty cool with an assortment of critters, but you will most likely end up losing one or both. It's just not worth the risk.

KaotikJezta since semi-aquatic means "living in or near water" you are technically correct(the best kind of correct). How about I change it to mostly terrestrial and say that having a large tank of water in the enclosure that is not big enough could cause health problems for the snake and is not necessary for it's well being.
