That is a beutiful collection, would like to see all those animals in a few years time. Going to be some big snakes there :3

Great collection fegzz. Love the sugar gliders, if I may ask are they something you need to have a permit or special kind of license for??? Only asking as I wish to be educated

You have a stunning collection mate. You are very lucky! Thanks for sharing with us! Well done and keep us updated on these awesome critters :)

No, it's illegal

it is illegal to keep them as they are a protected species here in aus. It's legal in parts of the US though.

arent sugar gliders legal in some states?
(im pretty sure NSW isnt one of them unfortunately.)

In Vic you can keep native mammals on an advanced wildlife license (the same one used for reptiles). I think some can be kept on a basic as well (hopping mice???)

I wasn't trying to cause an issue here for the OP I was genuinely interested

It is legal to keep sugar gliders in victoria with just a basic license
im very sure you cannot keep them in most other states though unfortunately

Guess I'm gonna have to move to Vic:D Oh well price we have to pay. Great collection mate, super envious of those sugar gliders, are they very hard to keep?

i wouldnt say they are very hard to keep once you have done your research and understand their requirements but still harder then most household pets
, in saying that though due to their social nature you almost always must have more then 1 glider together unless you plan to spend hours a day with them ( even then another glider is still better imo)
overall though they are pretty cool but it wouldnt be an animal i would jump right into without doing the proper research
love the gliders though, sometimes its lucky to live in Vic!

Would love to be your girlfriend so I could play with those awesome animals... Oh wait, I am ;)
Just kidding though I'm pretty lucky I get to play with them all.
Don't forget Eggy,

As much as I think your snakes are amazing, that sugar glider just melts my heart! Just so, so, so cute!

Sugar gliders are legal in the NT. There are quite a few breeders out in the rural areas and they come up for sale pretty often.

haha i've found it quite funny that the gliders are receiving the most praise despite it being a reptile forum :p
they definitely are awesome little animals though no doubt,
