very active mac

just got a new spotted yesterday and ive noticed its extremely active it never uses its hide ,its either out sitting on the hid or on top of the rock wall should i put in a third hide or is it just part of the settleing in phase
and also the tank is far to big for the snake but i figured it would just stay in the hides if it was stressed any suggestions

Spotted's are an active, curious little snake, so I wouldn't worry too much; just make sure there are plenty of hides, branches, plants etc for him to explore and choose for his home.
