This little girl turned up today. Totally and completely unafraid of me and very, very hungry. A bit of a pest actually, she wouldn't move from the "corridor" and I had to duck under her. And in the end I accidently fed her a rat

Thats pretty cool it wasn't affraid of you. Since you fed it do you think it might stay in the area and come back when its hungry? Like how other animals learn to come back to your property if you feed them.
 
Looks in pretty good nick bit of a shame about the accident but I'm sure your guest didn't mind.
 
Ha i am sure she will hang around the area, after all she kind of found what she was looking for - persistance pays off :) for her and not the rat :)

She is the most ready feeder I have had turn up. Normally the snakes only hang around for a few weeks before disappearing but I did have "Sargent Schultz" hang around for about five months. I still haven't had one return after a long absence.
