It really was very basic! They showed me themselves taking him out of the pillowcase, then placing him on the ground, picking him back up just to show he was very calm then made me do the same, and they explained that my boy breathes very deeply and loudly and it isn't actually him hissing most of the time! His breathing still shocks me occasionally haha :p
They explained him sensitive the tail and head are and explained how in their experience handling these areas are the most likely way to get bitten, then showed me how well he reacted to them touching and poking these areas - no hissing or snaps. I guess really they just showed me he wasn't the beastie he was made out to be, and told me to handle him an hour a day every day for the next few weeks :)

I'msure ill come across this issue oneday, ive been lucky so far!
