We had a few small females lay for us this season.

What is the smallest female you've ever had lay a clutch? Was it expected or unexpected?

tiny little mothers that love to leave us a surprise at this time of year

Thats them Bushman
Horrible little things to find
Love hiding in clothes
Twice woken up to find tiny babies
Fit through mosquito net so not really viable as a captive species

I thought so. Ramphotyphlops braminus are amazing snakes, in that they can both lay eggs and give birth to live young and they're unisexual!
I wonder how small the eggs are?? How big are the neonates?

Which mode may depend upon local conditions. Eggs are laid in an advanced stage of development, so delayed parturition may make the difference between whether or not eggs are laid or young birthed. They're the only known species of parthenogenetic snake on earth and can establish colonies from being transported in soil like flowerpots, hence the common name.
They're truly minuscule. For those interested, they're arguably the smallest species of snake on earth with adults averaging 15-20 cm and juveniles only 5-6 cm!
Longqi wins!
