I have a $60 reptile license and I was just seeing how many reptiles I can have with it

Hazarding a guess that you're in Queensland by the cost of the license. With the basic license you can have as many unrestricted reptiles as you can care for. You may also have two restricted reptiles, such as the Woma and Green Tree Python. I'm not sure what else is restricted, or if my information is 100% up to date.

If I'm wrong about the state, please disregard my comment.

As vengeance said you can have unlimited unrestricted reptiles in Queensland. You are also allowed two non lethal restricted reptiles. These are GTP and woma's. For this you can have one of each or two of each species but anymore and you have to upgrade your license. I will also point out to you that all colubrids are on the unrestricted license as well as some non dangerous elapid species. You would have to look into what species are unrestricted. What are restricted are GTP, woma's, any elapid that can potentially kill you and sea snakes.
Cheers Cameron

A bit off topic here but what reptiles in South Australia can you keep without a license?

Only one animal off the basic list but you can't sell it or give it away without getting a permit. As a rough guide, most pythons most dragons and skinks some smaller monitors and some geckos. There are also exempt species that you don't need a license for. There is a PDF file on the website from memory. If if isn't listed then it's a specialist permit animal.
