Hey guys, its about that time of year in some areas where people's Beardies will be starting to slow down for Winter and go into their form of hibernation, known as brumation.
I've already got one that's fully gone down and another 4 that are probably only days away.
Post your stories and questions about this process here. :)

Mine has been down for a week now...
Full enclosure shut down including photoperiod and basking light
The enclosure is maintained at 25C ambient air temps via a thermostat controlled CHE
Guess I'll see him again in a few months

One of my females has been down for 2 weeks. Moved her into a shoe box 2 days ago and will check on her monthly to make sure shes not loosing weight. Should wake up around late september if last year was anything to go off.

MY male went down about 2 weeks ago, keeping enclosure running as normal, he's buried just cooler of centre of enclosure. He'll be down till late August if memory serves me correctly.

Male is going down then getting back up so he should be dropping down permanently pretty soon. It's his first brumation.
