picture? description? what are your ambient temps and what heating equipment are you using etc.?

Dimensions? I would be putting a hatchie into a simple click-clack type tub with a heat mat connected to an on/off type thermostat, paper towels as substrate (easy to clean and cheap) hide on hot & cool ends, and a water bowl on the cool end :)

What snake you are hoping to put in the enclosure would help as well.

Without something for scale it is still hard to tell what the dimensions for it are. However for a baby anything when it comes to pythons you are best off starting with a click-clack which is basically just a really small tub (half as long as the python as a minimum) with newspaper or paper towels, a hide at each end, water bowl, heat source and ventilation. Hatchling snakes are small and feel vulnerable, keeping this in mind remember that they generally suffer less stress if they have a place to hide and feel secure. This can also be true for yearlings which benefit from small enclosures or larger click-clacks. Also make sure that there is no way for your snake to escape, if any part of the click-clack or enclosure has a gap larger than your pinky finger or a gap larger than that can be made by two parts flexing then your snake probably will find it's way out and into the big wide world.

http://www.aussiepythons.com/forum/noteworthy-threads-5397/guide-build-click-clack-dial-93266/ Is a good read for how to build a click-clack and is done with relative ease and with materials easily available.

Yeah Bec, should be fine, just make sure you have at least 2 hides and a decent temp gradient and the hatchy or yearling will be happy in that, put in a few branches for any arborial sp to keep it busy, if you find you youngen to be a bit flighty or upset being in there you could always lower the ceiling in the enclosure with a peice of ply the same size as the top of the enclosure with 4 legs to hold it up till your snake is more settled. :) ....................Ron

If by juvie you mean hatchling, just make sure you check to make sure it can't escape. Baby snakes are very, very good at getting out of things, which is one of the reasons click clacks are so amazing.
