Hi everyone,
I've been lurking for a month or so after a friend put me on to this forum.
Must admit I wasn't a huge fan of snakes until I completed an animal handling course at the zoo where I volunteer. I now can't get enough of them and I have fallen in love with Children's pythons. I just love taking the zoos snakes out to do meet and greets with the visitors.
I purchased my reptile licence yesterday and am currently in the process of sourcing my first python. Snake Ranch has come highly recommended to me by a friend who bought his first snake from them last year and I have also been in touch with Shire Snakes who also seem to have a good reputation.
I have loads of questions but will do some more searching of forum threads to see if they've already been answered before I ask them. This forum is a fantastic source of info and advice so thank you to the mods and members.
Feel free to offer advice to a newbie.
