Hey guys and girls!

[HELP][/HELP]

I am having trouble with my ceramic lamp not heating up and staying heated with it connected to my thermostat.

I am using a microclimate theromstat that i had pevious had connected to a heat mat that worked fine! But now that i have installed a ceramic heat lamp and a ceramic lamp holder it doesnt stay heated it is set to 30 degrees on the thermostat and the lamp doesnt heat up. I have a feeling that no voltage is getting to the lamp itself so it cant heat i have mains connected to the thermostat and I have the sensor mounted on the branch underneath the lamp itself, just dont know whats going wrong.

Stressing as its coming into winter!

Process of elimination.
Plug your lamp into another outlet and test it that way.
If it heats up then your thermostat has an issue or the outlet it's connected to has an issue.
If it doesn't heat up try another bulb.
What wattage is your lamp and what wattage is your lamp rated for?

Look inside the actual fitting...some times the intense heat "weakens" the spring tension & breaks the connection. Just gently pull the metal connection back up & test the bulb again.
And yes, please make sure the light socket's not plugged in when you do it.
