Ball pythons in Australia?

Ball pythons are illegal in Australia aren't they? Because I was on this website and someone was selling albino ball pythons?

When you see ball pythons advertised on aussie websites its usually an african scammer. There is ball pythons kept in aus but they are uncommon ,most of the illegal held reptiles are boas and corns that have been bred for a long time on the black market .

Yes most if not all that are advertised are scams but I was quiet surprised of late at how many ball pythons are being offered for sale/getting around. Defiantly on the rise but still no where near as many as corns.

stick well clear of those ads. Even if they are legit it is not worth to get mixed up in illegal exotics.
