A few years ago i got lucky with a pair of amyae i bought, I never intended to breed them, but they bred before i got around to seperating them, i incubated the eggs, and out popped a new mutation.
(the pink is hard to photograph, its a really nice clean looking pink)

This season just past, i put the pink males over the sister of the original female (the sister doesnt belong to me, i was asked to try breeding her and another female by another aps member) and out popped something even more mutated,....wish i knew which male it was, she also produced 2 normal pinks,....so its probably just one of the males that carries the reduced spike gene,...
Strangely enough, of the 2 females that had produced pink babies for him, only this 1 had compatible genes with my pink boys, the other only produced boring brown babies,...
