G'day, i found a Ethmostigmus rubripes at work today and after considering getting them in the past I decided to keep it. Like most of us I had plenty of spare reptile and fish stuff lying around so got his enclosure sorted out all sweet. The only question I have is do they need any heating? From what I've come across some say no some use heat mats. Any input appreciated thank you.

If you found it in Melbourne than it will be a Cormocephalus aurantiipes, and no it does not require any heating.

Ahh richoman just finished reading some threads with a lot of information from you in them so thanks and for the quick answer! While a little spewin on the id it's still an absolutely stunning specimen and at around 7cm and nice and fat it's still got a little bit more growing to do. If anything it'll make a great start to keeping centipedes

Nice! It's a little off the topic, but what do they eat?
