Yeah, I've been full time on the mines for over 20 years. I won't get out of bed for anything less than 155K. A lot of new fitters are starting on between 120 to 130K. I guess they will pay for experience. I was a fitter, now a planner. No night shift. Excellent. I think contractors we get are on 45-50 bucks an hour and lazy leckies a bit more.

planner $155k mon to fri, no nights or weekends?

8/6 days only. I am changing jobs and got home from work and new contract here. 164k and with bonus's paid quarterly, up too 183,960 for days only.

Yep I only work week days 9-5. Less than $140k though now. Had two rate reductions in the past 10 months.
The boom is over for design and construction at least.

Yeah, the companies are using lower prices to enforce pay cuts on contractors,while their profits continue to rise. Lol
