I got a baby ball python about 3 weeks ago. I haven't been able to take him to the vet since not alot of people keep snakes as a pet in my country but looks very healthy and has gained weight ever since his arrival. Now here's my problem. When I first fed my snake, he pooped quite well. But ever since last week he kind of stopped pooing. Is it just me or does my snake have some kind of problem..please help. I'm really worried

I think I chose the wrong topic. But please help

Should be fine. Snakes can go ages without pooping.
We cant keep Ball Pythons in Australia. Be better to ask on a UK or USA forum.

Snakes don't defecate regularly - they can go for weeks sometimes without doing anything. Not a sign of ill-health.

From my experience, it tends to be right AFTER I have cleaned out the enclosure. I swear Lennie just holds it in till I've cleaned his house. lol

My snake so eine doesn't go for a whole month after eating. He'd be fine don't worry.

I know their is helpful people on here but I cant get my head around why someone would join an australian reptile forum to ask about ball pythons.

Does it really matter?

When it comes to pooing most snakes are pretty similar....
