Hey all. I have a female albino Darwin that hatched in Feb this year. Im looking at getting a male that is roughly the same age. Will I have any issues housing them in the same enclosure? There is more than enough room.

Cheers, Col.

I advise against keeping juvenile snakes together, as you may have issues around feeding time that could result in "accidental" cannibilism. Even if you separate them when you feed them, unless you rinse them well afterwards, the smell of the recently eaten food item will be on their bodies and one may bite, constrict or even swallow the other.

Not to mention you should be quarantining so you will already have a separate enclosure.

Its recently been suggested that the sunshine virus can remaim dormant for up to 16mths. So id go with that, or go the expensive route and get 2 tests 6 mths apart and then go the 12mths as well.
