Help! Bhp gone squishy

Black headed python has stopped eating about a month ago and today I realise his bottom half has gone what feels kind of squishy and also seems to be full of liquid. Any ideas?

Don't worry the squishy ness was a result of an empty belly and for some reason he has just started eating! Ahaha

yeah, that just means he has an empty stomach.
I have a water python that does the same thing - every now and then I pick her up and she's all squishy and gurgly because of her empty stomach.

I would be taking it to a vet to have its liver and kidney fuction checked. There have been a few threads on the quarrentine fb group on squishy snakes and none have ended well.
