I have a baby spotted python just over 6 months old. We feed him a decent sized pinkie a week ago . Since then he has been hiding inside his hide. He is usually quite active at night and sometimes during the day. He has not come out of his hide all week. I have checked on him a fem times and found him curled up with his head hidden. I am concerned. Any suggestions about his behaviour would be greatly appreciated. [HELP][/HELP]

It's possible he is shedding. Just leave him be, he will come out when he is ready.

He's a baby dude. He probablt still feels like everything is going to eat him.

Mine was the same, he wouldn't eat unless I shoved the food in his hide with him. But he slowly got more confident when he realised he wasn't in any danger from me.

Just give him time. He's okay

Sounds like pretty typical snake behavior. Certainly nothing to worry about.

My Children's python was the same at that age. Would come out at night and stay hidden during the day. He's 12months old now and still doesn't like to be out in the day time much except to poke his head out when I walk into the room. They're little so just want to feel safe.
