hi just wanting to know if any of u guys know of any good herpetology courses that have good accreditations?

Don't exist.
Best bet is to study Zoology at Uni then choose to specialize in herps yourself...

Rick Shine had courses in nsw, not sure if he still does.

There are small courses in most states which teach basic care and/or handling of reptiles and give a certificate at the end. I have done a basic and advance care and management of reptiles through TAFE in Brisbane, however i know they were cancelled as they weren't profitable enough for TAFE. Several of the more experienced snake catchers also run similar courses and Martin Fingland who ran the courses that I did now offers some through his own company (geckos wildlife). But i believe the only way you get a diploma or degree is to do some sort of zoology or ecology course and some of the subjects tend to cover reptiles. If that's what you are after then its best to go to a university that has a professor specialising in reptiles like rick shine (Arthur Georges if you like turtles). James cook uni used to have a subject on Australian Reptiles offered every second year but it may have been cancelled but you could look into it. I have also heard that some of the crocodile farms do courses on handling and caring for crocodiles.

Anyway it really depends what kind of accreditation you are after. If you just want a certificate then there are many people on APS who will know of good ones in different states.
