I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the south penrith reptile vet. Are they reputable? Also, are there any other reputable vets specialising in reptiles near the hills district of sydney (baulkham hills, kellyville etc.)
Thanks

I used to live in the Hills district, I think South Penrith Veterinary Clinic is the nearest reptile specialist? Was about 40mins drive from where I lived anyway, well worth the drive. I would recommend them, they have been friendly and professional each time I've gone in. I've taken one of my skinks into see Dr Robert Johnson a few times, Astro has cataracts and is for all intents and purposes blind. He explained to me what cataracts where and how they'd affect her quality of life. While her condition isn't treatable, going there did a lot of good for my peace of mind and better understanding what limitations she would have, plus I was able to find out that apart from her eyesight she was as healthy as she could be.

I'm about 3hrs away from there now and would make that drive to take my reptiles back to the same place if the need arose.

Thanks so much for the info. I will probably go to them if i ever need any assistance.

If you have Robert as your local you wont need any other vets.

My reptile vet is Terri Bellamy at Canley Heights near Fairfield. Been seeing her for years and very happy with her work. She also used to work out of a vets at Austral but they were forced to close by a greedy landlord.
