Found a snake? What now?

We found a snake in our house and have since caught it, but are kind of unsure of what to do with it now. It looks like a golden crowned snake, and looks about 30cms. Is there a good place for a release around Wallsend, NSW?

Golden crowned snakes are in your area, release it. If you have a national park not far from you i.e in your suburb release it there. Try to make sure it isn't near any cats or dogs.

Take it for a walk along the path between the motel and Glendale. Lots of good release areas.

Over at Minmi Recreation area (near Tree Tops), or the wetland area near Bunnings
