Just fed my girl superworms for the first time yesterday. I came home today to find this all over her cage. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?

Probably too many at once. mealworms have very indigestible skins, so they need to be fed sparingly. Most insect exoskeletons are indigestible, but mealworms are known to cause blockages in the digestive tracts if fed in large quantities.

This is the reason my big girl (4yr old) only gets 4 superworms at a time , and my yearlings only get 2 superworms at a time.

Superworms like mealworms are fine , but only if given as treats and in small numbers at a sitting. Never to a beardie under 10 months old (probably).

I'd recommend only ever feeding the freshly moulted mealworms or superworms that are still white and soft to reptiles, other than that, they make great bird food. This wild spangled drongo comes and takes them right out of my hand.
