Hey my mat just died what I was keeping two containers with 3 month old hatchys on. It's summer in Brisbane ATM. Should I worry I just fed them both this morning. Temps have been okay today. Just worried. I've out some jumper sleeves in there containers to help keep them warmer. But it's not cold ATM should I worry ordered new mats but they won't be here for about a week or two. Help please?

If temps drop really suddenly, then you may need to provide extra heat.
You can use wheat bags or hot water bottles wrapped in pillow cases in an emergency.

I don't think it will get lower than 18. At night. Will do if it gets really cold. Should they be fine for now though? Cheers

Thanks fair enough. One likes hiding in it so I'll leave it in haha

using it as a hide is fine, snakes like to hide, but as jamie said they don't generate body heat.
If it does suddenly become cold before your new mats turn up you could use heat lamps
