I'm having a hard time finding tubs for a rack system I'm designing. I've tried the 35L Award tubs from Bunnings but they don't have a flat bottom and the heat transfer isn't that great - with 4 runs of heat cable I can only get it to 25 degrees. Ideally I'd like something around the size of 570x380x240. What do you guys suggest?

You can smooth the bottom with a soldering iron and/or a sander, if you can't find another suitably sized tub.

Hmmm, that might be the last option. I've removed the wheels which helped a little, but still not enough.

I did the same thing with a tub, took the wheels off, and melted down edges sticking out, and then lightly sanded it smooth.

If you have a router for heat cord, you could probably use a flush trim router bit to flatten the edges?
