Hey guys,

Just a quick question.
Wondering if it would be okay to house my 2.5yo Bredli and 4yo Diamond python together. They are both males. Obviously, the Bredli is smaller.

Cheers!

Males fight just like 99% of species of animals in the world. You will be taking the risk of your diamond eating your bredli. ESPECIALLY if they haven’t been housed together before. Much easier and reassuring to get 2 enclosures

I don't see how you'd be saving electricity by using only one enclosure.

You could just as easily drill a hole in each enclosure and thread about half the length of heat cord between the two enclosures.

That or place one on top of the other. The residual heat from the light in the bottom enclosure should warm the top one up enough.

Apart from the fact that they could fight, they also need different heating requirements, Diamonds should get less heat per day than a bredli!
That's hard to control in only one tank.
