Banned People?

Hey guys,

I was just scanning through some forums and came across posts from people who have been banned. I looked at the site rules and couldn't see any directly related to getting banned.

Just curious more than anything. How do people get themselves banned?

Yup. Some other forums I'm on now are way stricter than they used to be.

No real need for Site Rules these days - Just don't be a tool (especially not in ID or Herp Help) & you should be right. In most cases, posts will be deleted rather than a ban.

Thankfully it's been a while since I've had to ban someone, apart from spammers. Oh, there was that one guy who signed up specifically to ask for PayPal donations (in the ShoutBox) to save a corn snake or something. He didn't last long.

Ha! I wish we didn’t, but internet trolls are attracted to forums like moths to light. And I hate moths.

We should have a Purge day once a year where we lift all the bans for 24 hours....

PS: exactly what Rob said is how we like it these days and its been running pretty well to date..

The last person banned wasn't banned for being naughty as such; more for living up to his screen name.

I thought i pushed the boundaries early on its pretty hard to get banned i can tell u. I'm still on here even after i told people about the mass grave under my house. I should say my old house.
