Hi all,

Just discovered this forum by chance while searching for the Reptiles Down Under website. I just started the wonderful hobby of reptile keeping. I bought 2 Bluey's just recently and I will most likely get more reptiles as I get more experienced

Thanks guys. Where is the best place to shop for snake enclosures? We are now going to get a Children's Python - we've been told they are a great starter snake and not too nippy, I'm not very comfortable around any sort of snake so looking for a nice small (if possible) python.

Start with a hatchling. That way you can grow in experience as the snake grows. And you won't need an enclosure straight away, as hatchies can live in a plastic tub for up to a year. Most people use the Sistema brand, with the blue plastic clips to hold the lid in place.
