Hey guys!

Just hoping to hear your input on whether you believe this to be a male or female ackie, from these photos.
He was sold as unsexed, believed male.

I would check spurs, but they’re still settling in after the purchase, so don’t want to stress them out with too much physical contact.


I’ll link a few images here. In the first one, “he” is on the left and on the right there is a sexed pair, female top and male bottom.

In that photo he definitely looks so much more like a male out of the two.

In the above photo he is the bottom two, with a definite sexed pair above.


I’ll also attach more photos of him all over. Right now he measures 15cm / 6 inches snout to vent length.

Im no expert but judging by the head shape, tail base width and prominence of the spurs (very similar to my male) I would say male for that one.

Today he finally mellowed our enough to let me check and I confirmed him as a male, by sighting spurs and hermipenes
