My wife saw on facebook that someone has been trying to prove out some hypo darwins, apparently its recessive. They are pretty spectacular looking. I was wondering if anyone has more info, I'm very interested in these. I think they could make some amazing pure Darwin sunglows.

Yup! Troy Bromie of Bromie’s Pythons proved them out

I dont like them personally :l The double gene would be interesting though

It sounds very exciting and seems he has a new resessive mutation. Time will tell when he does some more unrelated out crossing and pairs back the possible double hets he has. He did say that he had some variability within the clutch but that is the nature of carpet pythons. Even though there are hypo genes already out there the waters are muddied with incomplete dominant caramels and hypos and then polygenic bredli hypos. Troy's animals I have seen don't look like they have much black on them at all and are stunning animals. Well done to troy I look forward to seeing more of this mutation in the future
