Hey guys about to get my first bearded dragon going with a bioactive setup but in preparation phase. My question is what is a good thermostat i'm looking for one that i can change the temp at certain times of the day mimicking real life and it to be a dimming thermostat not a on/off.
I have found 2 one is the Microclimate Evo Digital Thermostat which is $500 and the other one is the Microclimate B1 Dimming Thermostat 600w which is $250.
My question is why is one more expensive then the other they both seem to do the same thing by what i can read in the description is one just a newer model? I'm happy to spend $500 on a thermostat but if there is one for $250 thats just as reliable and good then obviously i don't want to waste my money.
What are your guys thoughts? Do you guys have another recommendation?

Too much humidity will rot your dragons, too little, your plants will die etc - I'd highly discourage it, especially for the first setup.
