Hi guys. I'm struggling to find consistent information about keeping a Stimpsons.

I am looking at buying a 110cm Male Stimpson's.

1. What is the thermal gradient?
2. Is a 900L x 450W x 600H enclosure sufficient?
3. Should I worry about a basking lamp or just use a heat mat?
4. If using a heat mat, how big and what temperature?

Hey, it’s “stimson” not stimpson, (antaresia stimsoni).

I prefer to keep them on a 26 cool side with a 30-32 hot side. Wether you use a heat mat or bulb is up to you, I prefer heat mats. When you use a bulb make sure it has a cage to prevent burns [emoji4]
