Hi all.
My hatchling macleay river turtle needs some spin in her diet. I have had her for a few months and have mainly fed her bloodworms and brine shrimp.
However, after more research these usually don’t have much nutritional value.
I have pellets for her put she took one nibble and has never even glanced at them again. I haven’t tried live food because i wouldn’t know where to store them or anything but if you could advise me with that stuff that would be awesome. i’m thinking about getting some feeding fish but because she is so small i have not tried live food like worms or feeder fish. also i have tried aquatic plants but she wouldn’t bother. she is very picky! i need help!! Please! thank you!

Your Macleay needs a plant based diet. Duckweed, azolla, thin vallisneria, elodea and filamentous algae. You can also use fresh watercress from Coles.
