snake handling/caring experience

Hey guys I'm looking for some experience working with snakes (complete beginner).

In the future I want to get a snake of my own, so in the mean time I would like to get some experience handling, feeding, looking after etc.

Does anyone know anyone who needs assistance or volunteer help with their snakes?

I have looked into Australian reptile park who has a 6 month volunteer program but I've only got 2 months available so its not quite going to workout.

any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Contact a Herpetological Society and see if someone in your area can help you. This is the best way to get experience with Snakes.

It would depend on your location but most wildlife parks have volunteers and would likely welcome you if you're willing to do some of the "dirty work". Make a few calls to wildlife parks in your area. You may need to deal with other fauna and do things like clean out possum enclosures and feed roos but if it gets you in the door...
