Just thought I'd share some up close pics of one of Australia's rarest and arguably, most attractive turtles and Australia's second most ancient species. Many people will never experience seeing one of these cryptic turtles in the flesh let alone a little newly hatched one.
Only 2 people in Australia, (myself included) have successfully bred them in captivity to date.

Now 15 days old and feeding on newly born woodies (wood roaches).
