I have had a female stimsons python for a bit now she was just a yearling when i got her and has never bitten but just last night she striked at me and bit me she has never done this before and she was fed just a few nights ago

Maybe it’s just a day for biting, don’t take it personally

But I would recommend u clean the bite area thoroughly

What are you feeding her?

How old is she?

Hi Eggilsik
Anyone who owns snakes should expect to cop a bite once in a while. Ive copped a few in my time, Its no big deal.

My usually docile Stimmy started striking when she was ready to go up a food size. Once I went up she calmed right back down.

Pinkies are a bit small for a one year old stimmie, I'd bump up the food size to a fuzzy. Like DaisyDee said, they can be more aggressive when they need to go up a food size.
