There are still 10s of thousands of Australians who are overseas for work , or on holidays , or family reasons , or who are on cruise ships that have been visiting other countries .
Everyone of them is potential covid-19 carrier and so respect a clear and present danger to nation should we continue allowing them to return to Australia , 2 weeks at home quarantine has proven ineffective , and most of the infections in Australia are either returned Australian workers or tourists or their direct family or contacts .
We are at a critical point in the pandemic and getting close to overloading the capacity of our ICUs and doctors to cope .

I think Morrison must tell them to stay put and wait it out overseas or on the ships until a proven treatment or vaccine is developed and has been dispersed throughout Australia's community.

Send them to Christmas Island, Nauru and Manus till they are proven 100% virus free.

Not fair to the folks who live on Xmas Island , who have very limited hospital facilities and will likely get a death sentence if they go into respiratory failure with Covid-19 , it's a LONG flight back to Perth or Darwin .
Nor is it fair to dump them on Nauru or Manus who have literally nothing to fight this virus and aren't even part of Australia.

This is the result of letting nationals back in from overseas and off cruise ships recently :

753 new cases in 2 days , this is step change of 753 / ( 2430 - 753 ) = 45% !!! and not all states have reporting at the time this data was published, likely to be a bigger increase.

I don't know about you , but I see that as a BLOODY ALARMING indication that the states and federal government have lost control..

If so many irresponsible selfish people had not travelled overseas or taken cruises in the last 2 months the situation would be much better.

If no selfish people had travelled in the beginning none of us would be here now either.

Sure travel if you want or have to. BUT don't be so self centred and selfish as these people have been by expecting to be allowed home while there's a pandemic in effect and they are very likely infected or even sick and piss weak governments who don't have enough balls to bluntly tell them NO , they are not wanted back home and they are temporarily banned from returning , so to stay put and self isolate in place or quarantine in place until the vaccine is available or an effective treatment or the pandemic is over ( everywhere ).
[doublepost=1585198838,1585198514][/doublepost]WTF : Sydney Airport TODAY :

Coronavirus: International flight arrivals crowd at Sydney Airport
Disturbing video from Sydney Airport shows international arrivals crammed together, with Border Force reportedly saying social distancing is “not our problem”.

Idiots ( every one of them ) and why is Sydney Airport STILL OPEN ?

“not our problem” BS , it is and Border Force is not doing it's job by allowing this .

Only WA seems to have a handle on the need to quarantine these people, unfortunately even they are not doing enforced quarantine long enough , two weeks for WA residents who return from oseas or disembark from cruiseships , but a combined but split 28 days for nationals who are interstate residents = 2 weeks on Rottnest , then bused to Perth a/port onto presumeably packed jumbo or 737 to other capitals where they are again bused to another motel to be quarantined for another 2 weeks ( giving any still infected a perfect opportunity to pass on Covid19 onto others on the bus and plain . :( not good since 2/3 of all cases have been linked to returned international travelers and cruise ship passengers .
[doublepost=1585633322,1585313377][/doublepost]My local Coles (Charlestown) has been closed temporarily ( a staff member has tested positive to covid19 ).
I'd say this on either that stupid lady from Warners Bay , or that pair of idiots from Red Head , who were out and about after being on "that" cruise ship in Sydney.
