What eggs are these on my fuzzies?!

bought these the other week, been defrosting them for a few hours today, went to feed and noticed these on about 4/20 fuzzies (some less than others, the one in this pic was worst) are they still safe to feed if I remove the eggs

I have noticed eggs on my fuzzies occasionally, I don't know for sure that it's safe, so I almost always throw them away and defrost another. Just to be on the safe side.

Could be fly eggs. Perhaps they were left out a little while after being euthed?
