Aussie sun mercury vapour bulb

sup,just wanted to know if anyone has tried these bulbs?Also are thy good cause i was thinking about getting one from the herpshop(there for my beardies).thanks

And how much uva/uvb do they really put out please? how close does the herp have to be? [might be good for turts?]

I enquired about them with Herp Shop, they cannot be used with a thermostat as they need 15 mins min between switching. Also put out a lot of heat. I was thinking about using one for my diamond but my enclosures are not tall enough (1200mm).

I'm sure others will know more, or give Herp Shop an email or phone call to find out more.

The herp hop site has the emission levels listed I believe. I haven't used them but have seen this particular brand in use and they look excellent to me
