How do you determine the difference between the sexes? Can you determine the sex before they start to display mating behaviour, or laying eggs?

Apparently yes, hemipenes are obvious and in females femoral pores can be seen. No idea yet jason, well see what develops! few more pics

Is the smaller also much younger? IE: Is the slightly stubbier tail due to being younger or just the way the small girl is ?
