just to let you know. all them people who doubted that my turtle was going to live, hes still eating and looks fine.
im so pleased, and am not stirring here
 
nahi have moved the turtle to a different enclosure and have caught the rat that i believe did the damage. not going into detail but he paid for what he did

Lol, no the wont grow back, they will heal though. glad to hear its not curtains for it MM. :D
how have you treated the wounds?
 
Hi Morelia, good to hear its all healing well. I think the rat has done you a favour though. I would think any reptile, big or small sharing a pit with a 3ft sandie was going to be a meal sooner or later. Separating them was probably going to be needed anyway. At least this way, everything is still alive.
