can you identiy this snake

Hard to tell, I'll take a stab in the dark and say either juvinielle Brown Snake, Pseudonaja textilis or Coastal Taipan, Oxyuranus scuttelatus, but it's not the easy with that pic, what's the animal in?

G'day mate,

This is a juvenile eastern brown snake (Pseudonaja textilis). I don't recommend handling it, as even browns snakes this size can cause serious envenomation.

Thanks I was thinking that way .One of my fitters just bought in it came out from under one of our work lockers.
we are in Blackwater central Queensland so Brown snake makes sense.

sure looks like a brown to me, used to see hundereds of those size around Blackwater and rockhampton
