just the lizards were more lit up than the snakes so easier to snap

ya great pics, but sorry about this Im more of a snake fan myself but what is the Green lizard sitting upside down???
I dont check out many lizards so wouldnt have a clue but its just gorgeous.

That looks like a Day Gecko of the genus Phelsuma, possibly P. grandis.

Very nice photos Robbo, looks like they have a great herp section there, imyet to visit Melbourne zoo but I shall eventually!, I love the giant Tortise pic too, they're my favorite animal.

Hey all, i have been to Melbourne zoo, it is no where near as good as Taronga Zoo but i might just be bias Their reptile section is BRILLIENT even if it is Melbourne ha ha ha.

PS no backlash from Victorians as i too live in Vic
