I'm looking for people with tyres, I'm thinking of kicking some, any pics, tips for me.

Lol, Sdaji well said, I think you pretty much sumed it up on this thread.

Whats wrong with a dude asking for a couple of pics.. not causing any harm.. and not tyre kicking as far as im conserned..

Some are SW. Ive separated them since then, lost a couple to sibling canniblism though.

While there are people on the topic of vens in general. How difficult is it to get a venomous license? In Queensland I have been told that you need two written refferals from venomous keepers and at least two years experience with pythons to get accepted. I'm curious if this is just a stalling tactic to make sure people are fairly competent before they do something that is too dumb?
When I started with herps about two years ago I stated regularly 'I would never keep venomous animals' now I am feeling indecisive. RBBs and death adders look nice and are interesting animals so now I am not so sure.

Your red bellies are mad peterscue :D I love the pic of all the babys but i didn't know they ate each other  I love rbb snakes but unfortunatly i have2 wait nearly 2 years b4 i can have1 :(
So does any1 els know bout them or have any pics? Or we all just gonna talk crap?

Hey munkee,

I dont think its as much a stalling tactic as it is, a way to get people to do their research and get some experience before they get veno's..

PS. Look out guys, this guy might just be looking for some tyres to kick, keep an eye on him.

I agree in todays day and age we should all learn to live together and be tolerant of one another

Sorry I just got back from Church (funeral) and feel overcome with emotion.

Hehe........... I am wearing steel caps right now too...............

Gilleni, Thats mostly what I am getting at though. I have been told regularly by my friend that I am full of ........................... 'talk'.

lol, ive only been doing this since dec and i already want a rbb :D

peter, yeah I was gonna say, If you keep them like that you will lose alot to each other.

I plan to breed my spotteds at least before I buy anything else. I have no more space for this year at least.

in vic you can apply straight away without ever holding and form of license, ever.......which i think is silly, but thats our law.

Cool, i had no idea u could just apply :D Of course i would do all thats required (eg. handling lessons) b4 i got 1 :D

Munkee, the laws have changed in QLD since I got my Specialist Permit (now it's just an add on to the Recreational Wildlife Permit) but what you've said sounds pretty much spot on.

Here's some I bought from Peter a few months ago..
