Just interested to know if anybody was playing in this weekly tornament, how you are going etc... I made the final table on saturday night only to be beaten by a little old granny (who I taught how to play 5 minutes before the game) out of about 60 peaople I ended up coming 6th. Not bad considering I had around 10 schooners under my belt and also watching my team (the Panthers) get flogged by the Storm. HO HUM

Yeah I played in the first season made it to the final table twice but where I play now (catholic club campbelltown) the line up is about 100m long you need to be there 3 hours early to register so gave up on it. Good fun though, I know the guys who run it out here top blokes.

thats the advantage of living in a small town, not many players, the disadvantage is you gotta travel 1,000,000 kms if you want to play in more than one tourney.
