APS BIKE RIDE - EOI

I have been thinking about organising an APS bike ride for those that have road registered bikes. So, I am wondering how many of us motorbike owners are out there and how many would be interested in a bike ride?

I was thinking about meeting somewhere up near Hornsby about 9am ish, heading up the old road towards Gosford and stopping in at the Roadwarriors cafe for a yummy egg and bacon roll :lol: and then on to the ARP for a bit of a look around, or even out to Wollombi Pub for a light refreshment.

Just a thought, am open to suggestions and obvioulsy it all depends on if there are enough of us to warrant organising it.

So give me some feedback and see where we go from here.

Great idea "Hugsta", a bit of meet and greet, but we're up here and you're down there. Do you mind if i borrow your idea and put my hand up to organise one for the Brissy guys if anyone's interested. I'm in the heartland of bike riding in this part of the world. Dunno about going to the local reptile park though crikey its expensive. Maybe we could organise a barby or something in the area. Lake Baroon's not bad, plenty of twisties for the knees down crowd, but there are tons of other spots around here for all of that. Besides if people would like to come and socialise and bring the kids come by car what the heck, we'll just leave in different groups.

Maybe we can have an Aus wide APS ride day for all with bikes. Seems to be more riders in QLD than there are in NSW.

Maybe an APS day out with anyone that owns a bike riding it and the rest of those that want to come along can drive.

I think you would find it much more comfortable on a bike with a top box for a back rest and a stereo although, I do get carried away. ;-)
