but does anybody know a real size

I think its between 1 and 1.2 metres, but dont take my word as gospel.

average size is 24 foot and 13 inches thick...real killers...jokes, yeah about 1.2 meters

according to all the books i've read, its about 1 metre

according to 'a complete guide to reptiles of australia'
- childrens TL = 1.02m
- spotted TL = 1.05m
- pygmy TL = 0.61m
- stimson's TL = 0.89m

these are fairly up to date measurements as the book was only released a couple of yrs ago

i really think its dependant on the individual snake, its feeding history, environment etc, the parents of both of my stimms were all over 4 feet, ( 120cm+)

everyone is right. There will be variations but 1-1.2 mtrs is pretty much right on the money :)
