Hey guys :)
Can someone tell me about what size enclosure I would need for my Carpet when he grows to full size?
My son reckons we should simply let him roam freely around the house......with babies, cats, and birds living here too, I think that they would somehow object...don't you?

I am going to try and make my own, and would like some tips too if anyone has any?

what type of carpet but im guessing coastal?

i have a 3.5ft coastal carpet in a 4ft long 2 ft high 2ft deep enclosure and she loves it

I have heard that half the length of the snake at full length is a good size - will need some hight too if it is for a costal - check out the pic of the one my boyfriend built for my costal in "return from the interneless land" in Australian Snakes

Yes, he's a coastal.
Just a hatchling at the moment, but I know he will not stay that way for long!

cage the kids and the other animals, let the snake roam free.

My wife wouldn't go for that idea either.......
