Hey all, As a noob to snakes I am having a really hard time understanding all the abbreviations or names out there. so i am going to post a list of things i dont understand. Feel free to add others and/or answers. Maybe one day it can become a list for all others to follow.

GTP = Green Tree Python
Leucie =
Jag =
HET =
Visual HET =
Hypo =
Mac = Spotted python.
BHP = Black Headed Python
Bredli = Centrillian python.
Woma = Woma python.
GTS = Green Tree Snake
Intergrades = Cross between two different species, example, carpet cross diamond.
Stimmie = Stimsons Python

Ill alphabetise it if the list gets too large.

Lol. i just figured woma was short for something lol. Thanks guys especially Ashleigh
 
mac= antaresia maculosa or maccie
leucie= do you mean leucistic? that means pure wite and normally blue eyes
jag=het for leucism, a european derived morph of morelia spilota
HET=heterozygous for a paticular traig, normaly refers to albino, it just means the animal carries the gene.
visual HET=a het where you can tell its a het such as for melanistic, a malanistic snake will be jet black, a het will just be darker then normal.
Hypo=reduced black pigment
Bredli= morelia bredli
woma=aspidites ramsayi
intergrade=the gradual crossing of 2 species or subspecies, forming a distinct variety

AHG: Asian House Gecko
BTS: Brown Tree Snake
CB: Captive Bred
FS: For Sale
OPMV: Ophidian Paramyxovirus, a contagious and deadly snake virus
RSP: Rough Scaled Python (Morelia carinata)

haha.. wow i never knew that list existed greebo.. how cool.. and lol @bendarwin..
Bet those things arent on that list of greebos.. hehehehe
