After a few years of owning a beardie, I'm finally allowed to get my ACT Class B licence - i.e. I can finally keep a Stimsons. Back...
I feel physically ill. :(
Congrats, I'm really glad she's eating! :D
Omg, sssssoooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!! :D :D :D
Ahaha my cat just wants to eat my lizard. v___v
PS, love your shingleback's name!
I wouldn't call that boredom so much as feeling comfortable or not in its enclosure.
@StimiLove, while your dragon probably won't be looking for...
I know they're not as variable as the morelias, but I still think they can get super pretty...plus I love their small size and...
Poor little guy, good luck on getting him back into shape. :)
Velvet marbled geckos! They're sooooo pretty ^^
They're both great lookers :D
 Holy god that thing is hot!
Good luck with her! She's lucky she was found by someone like you. :)
Do be careful with heat rocks, by the way - they're often not recommended...
Good luck with your snake, BenjiBoy - I'm sure you'll make a great keeper :)
Oh my god that does not look like a healthy snake.
Great snakes you've got there! :)
What Scott said! :D
Your third picture is definitely the best of the bunch.
Sorry guys, of course I accept that in some situations there may be no other option, but Wrightpython's advice came across as 'live feed if it...
It's 6 months old and seems to have had at least 7 feeds - it really doesn't sound like it's at the life-threatening point yet.
Live feeding is a) illegal, b) unethical and c) a good way to get your snake injured.
Great job on the enclosure, it looks fantastic!
However, dragons in the wild do not live on anything approaching what we'd consider a 'hard...
Just as an aside, next time your snake lunges at you try not to flinch and pull your hand away - while a bite (especially from a childreni) really...
Mine does this cool trick where it falls asleep :D
I thought exporting wasn't allowed any more either? Haven't people in the States been complaining about it forever?
Oooooh will do :D
Jesus, how big of an indoor enclosure would you need for all of that??
Once we move somewhere which has enough space for at least our dining table I plan to. ;)
He's beautiful, congratulations! :D
Wowwww, I love it!! Congratulations! :D
(I miss painting...)
I've said it before, but I'll say it again...that's probably the most attractive shingleback I've ever seen!
Definitely looks like a mac to me, and a very nice one, too. :)
I'm so glad they turned up! And what lovely snakes, too. ^^
All these pictures are making me want geckos of my own. :D Beautiful animals, everyone!
Definitely a central. Your friend might be confused as centrals often get sold as 'easterns', and so lots of people don't really know the...
Woodies are a perfectly acceptable substitute for crickets, and they're nowhere near as smelly :)
Going by your previous threads, this is at least the second time one of your beardies has injured another of them. For the love of god, SEPARATE...
I wouldn't risk it.
I reckon that'll help a lot - your tenants (hopefully!) won't want to get on their landlord's bad side! :D
(Also, good luck, and really sorry it...
Try and get some volunteering under your belt - best way to both get experience and try a few different things and see what you enjoy. Quite often...
They're goooooooorgeous!! I'm super jealous :D
Very pretty :)
Try not feeding him anything for a few days, then only offering him vegetables. It's usually a good idea to introduce vegetables to beardies at...
Ahaha the first thing that struck me was the size...but the colour change is extraordinary, too. What a unique (and awesome) snake! :D
I hope the snake ends up okay, poor thing. :/
The first thing you'll want to work out is what kind of job you're interested in - something academic? Something where you just care for animals?...
Bluetongue poop (or at least that which I've seen) is waaaaaaay worse than dragon poop...rather than being all nicely wrapped up in a skin it's...
Wow, they're beautiful!!
Holy moly, she's enormous!
